Our eighth grade interdisciplinary project is titled "Diversity in Society." Answer the following question in 7-10 sentences. (10% of final grade)
Many have said that we live in a diverse society with diverse people, traditions, beliefs, and ideas. This diversity can be seen in your life, your school, your community, and your world. What does the word "diversity" mean to you? Use examples from your life.

Using acrostic or free form poetry, express how you are diverse. What qualities make you unique? What is special about you? How would you describe yourself. Post your poem along with a picture of the diversity mask you created to represent your diverse self!

Question 2-Diversity in the News
There is alot of diversity in the news and newspaper. There is diversity in wars. I say there is diversity in iraq. Also I say there's diversity in the U.S. too. I say this because iraq beliefs in something. But the U.S. beliefs in something else also. It is diversity because its between both of them. Also, the news is diverse because of the people i was watching TV and the lady was saying people that dress so there showing there self but the other lady saidthat an whore. so that proves to you that people have different minds.

Outside of a diversity of beliefs in the news, do we see other types of diversity? How about a diversity in topics or a diversity in the people covered?
